Fawkner Leisure Centre is part of Active Moreland, which is owned by the City of Moreland and run by YMCA Victoria.

Fitness

At Fawkner Leisure Centre, we'll help you achieve your fitness goals – whether it's working out in our gym, having a cycle on our of our bike machines, taking part in one of our group fitness classes (offered through our weekly timetable), or bouncing around on our trampoline!

Women-only gym access

Women-only gym access is available to all female patrons of the community. Women and girls of different backgrounds and religions can train in the gym comfortably once the gym is closed to the public. During these sessions, we have made the entire gym area available to female participants only. In this session there is no dress code, however it is expected that you wear appropriate workout attire.

Times: Sundays 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

Swim

Swimming is a great way to stay active and healthy. At Fawkener Leisure Centre you can learn to swim, exercise with lap swimming in our indoor pool, relax in our hydrotherapy pool and sauna, or cool off in summer in our outdoor heated pools.

We also offer single gender programs including: casual swimming men-only sessions; casual swimming women-only sessions; and women's swimming lessons.

We are an accredited Watch Around Water facility, meaning there are guidelines that must be followed when visiting the centre.
